Flames Girls from the Red Mile - Flashing - 2004
From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Mile
Quote: The Red Mile is the name given to a several-block stretch of 17th Avenue S.W. in Calgary, Alberta, Canada during the Calgary Flames 2004 Stanley Cup playoff run. It gained world wide notoriety both for the relative lack of violence while upwards of 55 000 fans celebrated their team's success, as well as for the Mardi Gras-like atmosphere as societal norms were routinely flouted, particularly by women flashing their breasts. Anyway, there WAS a website that hosted all the pictures taken on the Red Mile...but it no longer exists. Luckily I downloaded most of them.
You don't need to remind me that the Flames aren't in the Stanley Cup playoffs this year
Here are all the pictures I have from that memorable run in 2004.
Enjoy! GO FLAMES GO!
And the GIRLS!
